Practice Description


Ged has a diverse litigation practice that has led to appearances at all levels of the courts. His practice includes security enforcement, which involves recovery work for credit granting institutions including power of sale, foreclosure and general debt collection, as well as commercial and estate litigation. He is involved in insurance defence claims including fidelity and mortgage insurance work. He also has experience handling Aboriginal/First Nations matters. He successfully represented a number of defendants in two aboriginal land claim actions that went all the way to the Supreme Court.

Ged has been very active in community organizations. He is currently on the Board of Directors for Community Living London and Dads Can and is a volunteer for St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation Capital Campaign. He is the former chairperson of the St. Thomas Aquinas School Council, a former trustee of the Middlesex Law Association, and a former board member of the Parkwood Hospital Ethics Committee and Friendship in Action, a community outreach group for seniors.
